A young girl was visiting her grandmother when she noticed something moving quietly in the backyard. At first, she thought it was just a shadow. But as she looked closer, she realized it was a dog — thin, trembling, barely standing.

After a medicated bath, the dirt, infection, and layers of suffering were slowly washed away. But her fight had only just begun.
Everyone — vets, nurses, volunteers — stood beside her, doing everything possible to keep her alive.

She gained weight — more than 2 kilograms, reaching 7.65 kg. Every bite of chicken dinner became part of her survival.

Leaving the clinic for the first time
After just seven days, Ivy was strong enough to leave the veterinary clinic.
