He Was Left to Freeze — But One Tiny Heart Refused to Give Up

On a freezing winter day, a tiny life was found lying silently on the cold ground.

A newborn puppy—so small, so fragile—barely showed any signs of movement. His umbilical cord and placenta were still attached. There was no mother nearby. No warmth. No protection.

He had just entered the world…

and already, he was alone.

Without hesitation, the rescuer picked him up and brought him home.

Because in that moment, every second mattered.

Fighting to keep a tiny heart alive

The first hours were filled with urgency.

Careful hands gently cut the umbilical cord. Warm water was prepared to slowly bring his body temperature back to life.

He was dried, wrapped, and placed into a small nest beside bottles of warm water.

But survival wasn’t simple.

He didn’t know how to drink milk.
He didn’t know how to live on his own.

Feeding required patience—drop by drop, hour by hour.

Day and night… without pause.

Learning the very basics of life

By the third day, a new challenge appeared.

The tiny puppy had not been able to relieve himself for two days.

After careful research, the caretaker learned that newborn puppies need help with even the most basic functions.

Gently, patiently, they assisted him.

And when it finally worked—

relief filled the room.

It was in that moment that he was given a name.

Chuba.

A name for a life that refused to give up.

Growing stronger, one small step at a time

With each passing day, Chuba began to change.

He was fed puppy formula—first through a syringe, then gradually from a bottle.

His appetite grew stronger.

By days twelve and thirteen, he began to wobble on unsteady legs.

Sometimes, he would crawl out of his nest…

searching.

Not for food—
but for the presence he had come to trust.

By day seventeen, tiny teeth began to appear.
His soft fur grew thicker.

And by day nineteen—

something remarkable happened.

Without being taught, Chuba found his training pad on his own.

A bigger world, and a new friend

Around day forty, something became clear.

Chuba didn’t like being alone.

So another young dog joined the family—a small Corgi named Chujiu.

At first, they observed each other.

Then slowly… they connected.

Soon, they were inseparable.

A special two-story space was built for them—a place to play, rest, and grow together.

Growing together, belonging at last

By day ninety-six, everything had changed.

Chuba and Chujiu moved with confidence.

They learned, played, and stayed side by side.

The tiny newborn once left alone in the cold…

was gone.

In his place stood a joyful puppy—

safe, loved, and no longer alone.
