But good intentions turned into panic. As strangers tried to approach or catch them, the dogs became terrified. They scattered into the street, running blindly through traffic in an attempt to escape.
Cars swerved. Drivers slammed on brakes.
In seconds, the situation became life-threatening.
Realizing how dangerous it had become, a concerned neighbor reached out to a local rescuer for urgent help.
A Search That Couldn’t Fail
When the rescuer arrived, the dogs were gone.
The once-visible group had disappeared into the surrounding neighborhood, leaving behind only the empty street corner where they had been found. It was a devastating moment. The area was large, filled with side streets and hidden spaces where they could easily be lost.
